Back offices and internal tools

Back offices built around the business

When spreadsheets and scattered tools stop being enough, Tejobit builds the system the business runs on: back offices, dashboards, client areas and internal tools.

Abstract render: an orderly mosaic of glass panels and columns, some in solid blue, like a control panel.

What is included

The system day-to-day work runs on

  • Managing what the business handles

Orders, clients, products, projects or stock, with search, filters and bulk actions where they save time.

  • Users and permissions

Each role sees and changes only what it is responsible for, from the warehouse to management.

  • Audit log

Who changed what, and when. Useful for settling questions and essential when client data is involved.

  • Dashboards and reports

Day-to-day indicators on one screen, plus PDF reports or spreadsheet exports.

  • Client areas

Clients check the status of their orders, documents and invoices without having to call.

  • Integrations

Connections to invoicing, payments, carriers or email. See API integrations.

Typical cases

When it makes sense

  • A spreadsheet nobody can maintain any more

Several people editing the same file, conflicting versions and formulas only one person understands.

  • The back office of an online shop

Orders, returns, supplier credits, shipping problems and the history of communications with each customer.

  • A portal for clients or partners

Documents, requests and work status in one place, with individual access.

  • A multi-tenant SaaS

One product for many companies, with data separated per client, its own subdomain and reports.

How it works

In phases, with something useful early

  1. 01

    Map the process

Who does what, with which data, and where the current process breaks down or wastes time.

  2. 02

    Scope in phases

A first useful version as early as possible. Later phases are defined, and you can stop at the end of any of them.

  3. 03

    Weekly demos

Visible progress every week, with sample or real data, and adjustments while they are still cheap.

  4. 04

    Migration and go-live

Existing data is imported and the system can run alongside the old process until it earns trust.

Frequently asked questions

Before you start

Why not use off-the-shelf software?

Often it is the best option, and the first conversation is also there to find out. A bespoke system pays off when the process is what sets the business apart, or when ready-made tools force workarounds every day.

Can existing data be imported?

Yes, as long as it can be exported, for example from spreadsheets, CSV files or another application with an API. The import is part of the proposal's scope.

What technology is used?

It depends on the project. Typically TypeScript, React and Node.js or Laravel, with PostgreSQL or MySQL, hosted on Cloudflare, AWS or a dedicated server.

Who owns the code?

Ownership terms are set out in the proposal before work starts. As a rule, service accounts are in your business's name.

What about personal data?

The system is designed with role-based access, an audit log and only the personal data the process actually needs.

A process that no longer fits in a spreadsheet?

Describe how it works today and where it hurts. The reply sets out a possible first phase and what it costs.
