Claude integration

Anthropic's Claude models reading contracts and long documents, comparing versions and drafting careful text, always with human review.

Overview

Claude

Some work does not fit a quick triage: reading a 30-page lease to find the renewal clauses, comparing a new version of an internal policy with the old one, or answering an unhappy customer in a tone that does not make things worse. That is where Claude models stand out.

Tejobit connects the Anthropic API to wherever the documents already live (Google Drive, SharePoint, Notion, email). Claude models take very long contexts and full PDFs, text and tables included, and can return answers with citations pointing to the exact passage in the source, which makes checking the output straightforward.

Under Anthropic's commercial terms, API data is not used to train models and is retained for a limited period. Personal data is handled under GDPR with a data processing agreement, and anything with legal or contractual effect is always reviewed by a person.

Use cases

What it is for

  • A property manager extracting terms, rents and renewal clauses from owner contracts.
  • A school or association comparing policy versions and summarising what changed.
  • An accountant getting a summary of obligations and deadlines in a service contract.
  • A support team receiving careful draft replies to complaints, ready to review.
  • An internal knowledge base in Notion answering questions from manuals and procedures.
IN

What the connection listens to

  • New or updated documents in a Drive, SharePoint or Notion folder.
  • Emails or tickets that need a more considered written reply.
  • Analysis requests from the team via a form, Slack or Telegram.
OUT

What the connection does

  • Read long documents and pull out clauses, deadlines, amounts and parties.
  • Answer questions about a document with citations from the original text.
  • Compare two versions and list the meaningful changes.
  • Draft replies, summaries and announcements in English or Portuguese for review.
  • Save the result to a Notion page, a draft email or a CRM record.

How it works

From the request to a working connection

  1. 01

    Request

The form names the integration, the tools involved and what should happen in each case.

  2. 02

    Review and proposal

Tejobit confirms what the API allows and sends a proposal with the flow, the price and the timeline.

  3. 03

    Setup and testing

The connection is set up with the business's own accounts and tested with real cases before it goes live.

  4. 04

    Maintenance and monitoring

Tejobit hosts the connection, follows up on errors and adapts it when the API changes.

The connection runs on Tejobit's infrastructure. The monthly fee covers hosting, monitoring and API changes.

What to prepare

  • An Anthropic Claude Console account with billing enabled (separate from Claude Pro or Team plans).
  • Read access to the folders or tools where the documents are stored.
  • Examples of a good result, such as a well-made contract summary or a model reply.
  • Who reviews and signs off each type of output before it is used.

For security, do not send passwords, API keys or tokens through the form. Credentials are requested through a secure channel when the setup starts.

Limits

  • Claude reads and writes very well, but it is not legal advice; contract analysis supports a lawyer, it does not replace one.
  • Poor-quality scans lose accuracy; PDFs with selectable text give better results.
  • Cost scales with document length; large backlogs use batch processing, which is cheaper but not instant.
  • Request and token per-minute limits depend on the account's tier with Anthropic.

Frequently asked questions

Before you start

What is the difference between Claude.ai and the Anthropic API?

Claude.ai is the chat app for people. The API is programmatic access to the same models, with its own account and billing, and it is what lets Claude work with the company's documents and systems.

How long a document can it read?

Claude models take very long contexts, enough for full contracts, manuals or reports running to hundreds of pages. Larger collections are split and searched in parts.

Does Anthropic train on the documents sent?

Under Anthropic's current commercial terms, content sent through the API is not used for model training. Check the policy and retention period in force before sending sensitive data.

When should I pick Claude over ChatGPT or Gemini?

When the job involves long documents, careful reasoning over text or writing where tone matters. For high-volume extraction OpenAI is a strong alternative; for images and Google Workspace, Gemini.
