Számlázz.hu integration

Invoices and receipts created in Számlázz.hu through the Számla Agent, for businesses trading in Hungary.

Overview

Számlázz.hu

Számlázz.hu is Hungary's best-known online invoicing service. Hungarian invoices are reported in real time to the tax authority's Online Számla system (NAV), and Számlázz.hu does that reporting once the account holds the NAV technical user credentials.

The integration talks to the Számla Agent, the Számlázz.hu interface that accepts XML requests and returns either the invoice number or an error description. It authenticates with a Számla Agent key created by the account owner or an admin; the key works only for the API, not for logging into the site.

Tejobit plugs your sales platforms into that interface, so the Hungarian invoice, PDF and customer email go out without anyone at head office logging into a Hungarian-language account.

Use cases

What it is for

  • A Danube cruise or Budapest walking tour operator on FareHarbor needing a Hungarian invoice for each booking.
  • A WooCommerce store with stock in Hungary invoicing its local orders in Számlázz.hu.
  • Stripe payments from Hungarian customers turned into invoices already marked as paid.
  • Electronic receipts (e-nyugta) for consumer sales, where the business qualifies.
  • Issued PDFs copied into the head office archive.
IN

What the connection listens to

  • Paid booking or completed order on the source platform.
  • Confirmed Stripe payment.
  • Refund that requires a reversal invoice (sztornó).
  • Scheduled run to confirm issued invoices and pending errors.
OUT

What the connection does

  • Sends the invoice XML to the Számla Agent with buyer, lines, VAT (ÁFA) rate and payment method.
  • Marks the invoice as paid when payment has already been received.
  • Requests a reversal invoice for full refunds.
  • Stores the returned invoice number and PDF.
  • Has Számlázz.hu email the invoice to the buyer, where configured.

How it works

From the request to a working connection

  1. 01

    Request

The form names the integration, the tools involved and what should happen in each case.

  2. 02

    Review and proposal

Tejobit confirms what the API allows and sends a proposal with the flow, the price and the timeline.

  3. 03

    Setup and testing

The connection is set up with the business's own accounts and tested with real cases before it goes live.

  4. 04

    Maintenance and monitoring

Tejobit hosts the connection, follows up on errors and adapts it when the API changes.

The connection runs on Tejobit's infrastructure. The monthly fee covers hosting, monitoring and API changes.

What to prepare

  • A Számla Agent key created by the account owner or an admin.
  • The NAV technical user set up in Számlázz.hu for Online Számla reporting.
  • An invoice number prefix reserved for this flow and not shared with other software.
  • A mapping between products and Hungarian VAT rates.

For security, do not send passwords, API keys or tokens through the form. Credentials are requested through a secure channel when the setup starts.

Limits

  • The Számla Agent is an XML interface built for issuing; it sends no webhooks and does not list manual edits.
  • A NAV reporting error is handled inside Számlázz.hu and may require fixing the invoice in the account.
  • Sharing an invoice prefix with another program can cause NAV reporting issues.

Frequently asked questions

Before you start

Does the integration report invoices to NAV?

Not directly. Számlázz.hu reports the invoices it issues, once the technical user is configured. The connection requests issuing with correct data.

Are invoices in Hungarian only?

Számlázz.hu supports bilingual invoices, such as Hungarian and English. The language is set per request and can follow the customer.

Do I need to be registered in Hungary?

Yes, invoicing from a Számlázz.hu account requires a Hungarian tax registration. Confirm the setup with a local accountant.

Set up the Számlázz.hu integration?
