CTT Expresso integration

Creates CTT Expresso shipments from orders, prints the label and keeps the customer informed until delivery.

Overview

CTT Expresso

CTT Expresso is the carrier behind many Portuguese online shops, with warehouse pickup, home delivery or collection points, and cash on delivery. The pain is the routine: copying addresses into the portal, printing labels one by one and pasting tracking numbers into orders.

Tejobit connects the shop or back-office to the CTT Expresso web services. When an order is ready, the connection creates the shipment with the contracted service, returns a PDF label to print and saves the tracking number on the order, which goes to the customer by email.

Delivery statuses are checked throughout the day. A delivered order is marked complete; a returned order or a delivery problem triggers an alert to the team.

Use cases

What it is for

  • A wine shop shipping dozens of cases a day that wants labels printed in batches
  • An online pharmacy or health store with next-day delivery and tracking for customers
  • A shop offering cash on delivery that needs to know when the amount was collected
  • A brand shipping to CTT collection points at the customer's request
IN

What the connection listens to

  • An order marked ready to ship in the shop or back-office
  • A batch shipping run late morning or late afternoon
  • Scheduled checks of delivery statuses
  • Returns and failed delivery attempts
OUT

What the connection does

  • Create the shipment with the contracted CTT Expresso service
  • Generate the PDF label and send it to the printer or the team
  • Save the tracking number on the order and email the link to the customer
  • Mark the order as delivered once CTT confirms it
  • Alert the team about returns or problem addresses

How it works

From the request to a working connection

  1. 01

    Request

The form names the integration, the tools involved and what should happen in each case.

  2. 02

    Review and proposal

Tejobit confirms what the API allows and sends a proposal with the flow, the price and the timeline.

  3. 03

    Setup and testing

The connection is set up with the business's own accounts and tested with real cases before it goes live.

  4. 04

    Maintenance and monitoring

Tejobit hosts the connection, follows up on errors and adapts it when the API changes.

The connection runs on Tejobit's infrastructure. The monthly fee covers hosting, monitoring and API changes.

What to prepare

  • A CTT Expresso contract and web service credentials, requested from the account manager
  • The contracted services and the rules for choosing each (weight, speed, destination)
  • Complete address and phone details at checkout
  • A label printer or whatever printing setup the warehouse uses

For security, do not send passwords, API keys or tokens through the form. Credentials are requested through a secure channel when the setup starts.

Limits

  • API credentials are not self-service; they are requested from CTT Expresso and can take time
  • Available services depend on the contract and destination, including the islands and international
  • Tracking is checked at intervals, not in real time

Frequently asked questions

Before you start

Do I need a CTT contract?

Yes. The connection uses the CTT Expresso customer account and its negotiated terms. Without a contract, a platform like Sendcloud is an option if its available carriers fit.

Can I print several labels at once?

Yes. The connection can gather the ready orders and produce one PDF with all the labels, to print in one go.

Does it work with WooCommerce and PrestaShop?

Yes. The connection reads orders from either shop, creates the shipment and writes the tracking number back to the order.
