Fatture in Cloud integration
Issued documents, clients and payments in Fatture in Cloud created from your sales, with SDI delivery handled by the software itself.
Overview
Fatture in Cloud
Fatture in Cloud, part of TeamSystem, is one of the most widely used invoicing tools for small Italian businesses and professionals. In Italy, B2B and B2C e-invoices must travel through the Sistema di Interscambio (SDI), and Fatture in Cloud takes care of that transmission.
Tejobit works with the Fatture in Cloud v2 API, authorised through OAuth, to create clients and issued documents from bookings, orders or payments. The connection fills in the codice fiscale or partita IVA, the recipient code or PEC address, and line items with the correct VAT rate, so invoices are not rejected by the SDI.
The API supports webhooks, so Fatture in Cloud reports when a document is created or changed. That means the invoice number can flow back to the source platform without constant polling, which also saves the account's request quota.
Use cases
What it is for
- A food and wine experience company in Tuscany selling on FareHarbor, invoicing each booking in Italy.
- A Shopify store with a Milan warehouse where Italian orders become e-invoices automatically.
- Stripe payments marked as paid on the document so the payment schedule stays accurate.
- A Slack or email alert when an invoice is edited or deleted in Fatture in Cloud.
- Business clients kept in sync between a CRM and Fatture in Cloud.
What the connection listens to
- Fatture in Cloud webhooks for created, updated or deleted issued documents and clients.
- Paid booking or completed order on the source platform.
- Confirmed payment in Stripe or PayPal.
- A scheduled check as a safety net in case a webhook is missed.
What the connection does
- Creates or updates the client with partita IVA or codice fiscale, SDI code or PEC.
- Creates the issued document (invoice, receipt, credit note) with lines and VAT.
- Records the payment against the document's instalment.
- Asks Fatture in Cloud to send the e-invoice to the SDI, where the plan allows it.
- Writes the document number and status back to the source.
How it works
From the request to a working connection
- 01
Request
The form names the integration, the tools involved and what should happen in each case.
- 02
Review and proposal
Tejobit confirms what the API allows and sends a proposal with the flow, the price and the timeline.
- 03
Setup and testing
The connection is set up with the business's own accounts and tested with real cases before it goes live.
- 04
Maintenance and monitoring
Tejobit hosts the connection, follows up on errors and adapts it when the API changes.
The connection runs on Tejobit's infrastructure. The monthly fee covers hosting, monitoring and API changes.
What to prepare
- A Fatture in Cloud plan that includes API access and, for SDI delivery, e-invoicing.
- OAuth authorisation for the right company, if the account manages several.
- A mapping from source products to Italian VAT rates.
- A decision on which sales are billed in Italy and with which document type.
For security, do not send passwords, API keys or tokens through the form. Credentials are requested through a secure channel when the setup starts.
Limits
- The API enforces hourly and monthly request quotas that depend on the plan; very high volumes may need batching.
- Invoices rejected by the SDI come back with an error that needs corrected data; the connection flags it but cannot guess the fix.
- Webhooks say that something changed; the details take one more API call.
Frequently asked questions
Before you start
Does the invoice reach the SDI on its own?
If the plan includes e-invoicing, the connection creates the document and asks Fatture in Cloud to send it, which then transmits it to the SDI. Delivery status shows in the account.
Do I need an Italian VAT number?
Invoicing in Italy through Fatture in Cloud requires an Italian VAT registration. Confirm the tax setup with a commercialista.
Webhooks or polling?
Fatture in Cloud webhooks wherever the resource supports them, with a periodic check only as backup.
Does it work with several companies in one account?
Yes. The OAuth grant names the company, and each company can have its own rules.
