Amazon integration

Connects Seller Central to invoicing and the warehouse through SP-API: orders, shipment confirmation and settlements.

Overview

Amazon

Most Portuguese sellers start on Amazon.es and later open other European marketplaces. Seller Central runs the sale, but the certified invoice, shipping from your own warehouse and accounting for settlements stay on the seller's side.

Tejobit connects to the Selling Partner API, Amazon's official seller API. The connection receives order change notifications, reads details through the Orders API, issues the invoice in the certified program and, for seller-fulfilled orders, confirms the shipment with the carrier and tracking number.

Settlement reports are read on a schedule and matched to invoices, so the books show what was sold, what went to fees and what actually reached the bank.

Use cases

What it is for

  • A tinned fish or olive oil brand selling on Amazon.es and shipping from its own warehouse
  • A seller using Fulfilment by Amazon who only needs invoices and reports
  • A shop selling on both Shopify and Amazon that wants one order record
  • A company that must upload invoices to Amazon for business buyers
IN

What the connection listens to

  • ORDER_CHANGE notifications through the queue linked to the account
  • Scheduled reads of new orders through the Orders API
  • New settlement reports
  • A carrier label created for a seller-fulfilled order
OUT

What the connection does

  • Issue the invoice in the certified program with destination country and applicable VAT
  • Confirm the shipment with carrier and tracking number
  • Upload the invoice to Amazon where the marketplace requires it
  • Match settlements to invoices and record fees
  • Update stock in Seller Central from the warehouse

How it works

From the request to a working connection

  1. 01

    Request

The form names the integration, the tools involved and what should happen in each case.

  2. 02

    Review and proposal

Tejobit confirms what the API allows and sends a proposal with the flow, the price and the timeline.

  3. 03

    Setup and testing

The connection is set up with the business's own accounts and tested with real cases before it goes live.

  4. 04

    Maintenance and monitoring

Tejobit hosts the connection, follows up on errors and adapts it when the API changes.

The connection runs on Tejobit's infrastructure. The monthly fee covers hosting, monitoring and API changes.

What to prepare

  • A Professional seller account in Seller Central
  • Registration as a private developer with Amazon and the app authorised on the account
  • Which marketplaces are active and who fulfils orders (seller or Amazon)
  • Access to the invoicing program and carrier

For security, do not send passwords, API keys or tokens through the form. Credentials are requested through a secure channel when the setup starts.

Limits

  • Buyer personal data such as addresses needs restricted data tokens and roles approved by Amazon
  • Each SP-API operation has its own rate limits, so reads are spaced out
  • Developer registration goes through an Amazon review that can take time

Frequently asked questions

Before you start

I use Fulfilment by Amazon. Is this still useful?

Yes. Amazon-fulfilled orders need no shipment confirmation, but invoicing and settlement reconciliation still apply.

Amazon calculates VAT. Do I still need to invoice?

That depends on the marketplace and on whether you use Amazon's VAT calculation service. The connection adapts to the case, and your accountant confirms which scheme applies.

Why is developer registration needed?

Amazon only opens SP-API to registered applications. Since the connection serves your account alone, it registers as a private developer, with nothing published on Amazon's app store.
